POSITION TITLE:	Software Engineer
REPORTING TO:	MANAGER
REPORTING LOCATION:	BANGALORE

Summary of Position and Objectives:

We are seeking a skilled C# developer eager to contribute to both development and support activities, with a balanced split of 50% in each area. This role presents an opportunity to gain valuable experience and pave the way towards senior technical or managerial roles within Eurofins’ diverse global business lines or corporate functions.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

We are looking for candidates with 0 to 3 years of experience in end-to-end web application development using Microsoft technologies. Key qualifications and experience include:

• Proficiency in C#, .NET, WPF, MVVM, MVC, SQL, RESTful services, WebAPI, NUnit, and Entity Framework.
• Strong understanding and application of SOLID principles, design patterns, and n-tier architectures.
• Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) projects and Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum).
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Unified Modeling Language (UML).

Technology Skills (Nice to Have):

• Angular, TypeScript, Jasmine, HTML5, CSS3.
• MS SQL Databases, ESB or Message Queuing (MSMQ), unit testing frameworks, UI testing.

Methodology Skills:

• Proficiency in Agile Development (Scrum).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MCA, or equivalent with relevant experience.

Personal Skills:

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, responsible team player with strong relationship management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a challenging, collaborative international environment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is advantageous.
